Picture this -- Moving “something” to the junkyard and throwing “something more” out of junkyard. Introducing “new”, changing “few” and geting the “fresh” look and appeal...
We all do this at our home to keep it clean and organized. Dont you think that we should do same with our online profile as well?
In fact it is need of the hour. I regularly update my client's home page / facebook theme / twitter background - just to give fresh feeling.. (ths keeps visitor coming back). Whether its personal or professional, your ditigal profile is like your online identity and it should be dust off regularly and polished up occasionally to get most of it. And believe me it is easier than cleaning up your room! Happy new “refreshing” online profiles. Brrrrr, Akshar If you think I could be of some help in (Brrrrring your online profiles), feel free to contact me. I am here ;) |

Two things only a man cannot hide: that he is drunk and that he is in love. - Antiphanes
I don't think I am in "drunk" condition and am also very bad in hiding my chuckles. So I confess - and yes I am going with this phrase - that I am in love.
My confession is result of a (elder sponsored or endorsed) meeting, couple of long chats, couple of voice chats, two (memorable) live chats and then the ultimate transformation of friendship to the love (+ marriage).
Love for me is spelled Payal. (she is a software engineer and works with Infosys at Mysore).
And my love for this girl is like "coal". Yes, as Bruce Lee very correctly said - Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. But as love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable.
And now suddenly I can see the world a lot more colorful and meaningful. Now the clock moves a lot slower...
I just couldn’t believe that it all happening. But it is happening, and let it be.
I think this is a perfect case of how we see the world and how things happening around us change the perception and hence the outcome. It happens because you want it to happen. It is that desire. Same principle also applies to Email Marketing and Website Re-branding as well, isn't it!
If you give sincere efforts with right strategies it will work for you - both these mediums can do wonders for you and can bring good fortunes. So desire strong, dream to achieve more and take that plunge. It has worked phenomenally well before and no reason why it won’t work again. Think. ____________________

Lose customers with bad receptionists |

Recently I had visited a popular gym in my area. To start with, I wanted to enroll into one of their fitness package. I was a pre-convinced customer. But my whole idea of joining their gym changed in less than a minute conversation with the receptionist of that gym. Instead of understanding my needs or focusing on value creation she was pushing hard on convincing me why her gym is right for me and other same old selling punches... Basically she was not trained to handle customers in right way. Due to this they lost my business and references which I would have given. The lesson learnt was: The first thing customer (when they enter your organization) see is the receptionist. His/ her presentation can change the whole perception of potential customers for good or bad. With a right training and toolkit of winning they can be one of your greatest assets and vice versa. Don't neglect this - you might be losing customers which you might not be aware of. For you, question to reflect on: Does your receptionist have the tools to win for you? Love, Akshar |

Only 16 days left in December. At this time of year is a great time to reflect back on the past months re-evaluate our e-mail marketing efforts. To get started, you can ask yourself the following questions: - What was I trying to accomplish with email marketing this year, and did I do it?
- Did I grow my email marketing (permission-based) database?
- Did I send consistent, quality email communications?
- Which of my email campaigns got the best or worst results and why?
By taking a moment to ask yourself, "How did I do?" you can make positive changes to your email marketing efforts that will help you get even better results. Have a happy holidays & wonderful email marketing year 2009! Cheers, Akshar |
